WANTED Canadian extradited back to Thailand
Matthew Dupre, a Canadian Indian gangster was shipped BACK to Thailand to face charges of the joint murder, along with another now demised Canadian of Indian gangster Jimi Sandhu on Phuket last year. The gunning down , believed to have been a contract killing, in a car parking area was caught on CCTV, the two then fled the country but were tracked back to Canada where one subsequently died in a crash involving a private aircraft , the cause of which has never fully been released to the press. Dupre’s return is hailed here as an achievement especially since Thailand DOES have the option of the death sentence, whereas Canada nixed that back in 76. Dupre though, as his victim, were a serious part in the underbelly of drug dealers in major Canadian cities.

Illegal narcotics found in student’s skin whitening supplements
In Buriram, when a 19 year old student FAILED a drug test, as part of her pre-qualification for training to become a pharmacist, her parents were more than angry, they were determined to get to the bottom of the matter. Seems she is a first class student and doesn’t socialize to any extent, furthermore she denied ever taking methamphetamine, the test that she had failed. With the only medication she had taken being SKIN WHITENING SUPPLEMENTS bought online, those pills were sent for testing as they weren’t bought from a licenced dealer. End result is good though as further tests revealed that she hadn’t ingested illegal substances and WILL be allowed to continue with her uni training.

Enraged Thais close Netflix accounts following clampdown on sharing
Thai’s are so enraged at the blocking of shared Netflix accounts, something that has become obviously common since the service provider announced the block …that many, including media companies are posting step by step instructions on how to CLOSE accounts. Extra members, outside the family home, CAN be registered for just 99 baht a day but it seems that many have had accounts and split them between up to 4 people. That.. well, it won’t wash with the movie company and many are looking at other, often free, movie service providers.

Father picks up son from school with… a gun.
When a well known drug user turned up at a local school in the south of Thailand yesterday, armed with a gun, the child ran to him and he drove home. He had never raised the gun in any way, according to the report, but had walked into the school grounds carrying it. Police later raided his home, after the man’s brother came out and handed over the weapon, telling them that his brother had calmed down, and the 8 year old was found safe and sound. He, according to reports, claimed he had heard helicopters flying overhead and wanted to protect his child. Now in custody it’s assumed that he was off his whatsits and admitted to taking drugs.

1.2 tonnes of Ice bound for Australia seized in bust
Drugs intended for export to Australia were seized this week by narcotics police in the South. With plans to ship them first to Malaysia the couriers carried 1.2 tonnes of Ice, in hidden compartments in their vehicles, from the North of Thailand down to the far South. A tip off led to the discovery and those arrested admit that they were to be loaded onto ships in Malaysia.. final destination.. Oz.

Pattaya bar owner threatened by debt collectors, door locks glued
Meanwhile at home, a local bar owner has gone to police after debt collectors threatened her and her staff ordering them to work harder to make the 30K baht interest payment per day. The bar owner plans to install CCTV too as her door locks were superglued as a warning. Seems she borrowed ¾ of a million baht from various lenders all at extortionate rates..and now, of course, simply can’t make the repayments.

Thai man gets an ear chewing by… a hungry camel
And a Thai man who took his kids to a petting zoo had his ear chewed.. by a camel. Seems the man had fed the animal but it got the hump after he moved on to feeding other animals in Central Thailand. Holding his child they fed a buffalo, he felt a nip in the ear, and felt that part of it was missing. And the warning is out to take a little care, even in petting zoos.
