American Youtuber enrages Thai police
What does a Youtuber in Thailand do to make more money from vlogging? Something stupid of course. And this week it has been the turn of American national.. My Mate Nathanial, to once again purposely post a video to garner free PR. Famed for nearly being kicked out of Thailand in the past due to dangerous and insulting pranks, then crying online when he split up with his ex, the latest ploy of the, no longer youthful, who speaks fluent thai, involved telling his flock that he had hired a whole group of 50, from a police commando unit, for a video of a game involving toy guns, knowing that Police, of course, have been top of the media tree for headlines in recent months. More than 2 million people with time on their hands watched his clip designed to cause background controversy in Thailand. Police were ordered to investigate WHETHER the 50 uniformed cops were really cops, turns out maybe 8 were and the rest paid actors. It is of course illegal for police officers to appear in commercial media in uniform without permission but our mate Nathanial knows that all too well. His sheeples then can expect a groveling apology, a few tears and the begging for forgiveness, and of course the hundreds of thousands of baht in his pocket from the viewing figures will mean he can afford Kleenex. Meanwhile Kanchanaburi police have to waste time, and public money, in setting up an investigation that could instead have been spent in a more worthwhile manner. And those cops involved.. Well, thanks to him, they will probably face disciplinary procedures.

Will commercial premises be billed for wastewater treatment in Pattaya?
And Pattaya may well follow the example intended to go into effect in the capitol soon, to charge commercial businesses for wastewater treatment. Plans are afoot in the capital to charge commercial users based on the amount of water used, as is practice in many western countries. The money is then applied to the cost of waste water treatment and would perhaps ee an improvement here with canals and drains in better condition.
