Four Thais have been deported by Cambodian police, and duly handed over at the border to Thai authorities investigating the online and telephonic money loan scam which saw a family end up IN massive debt, at risk of losing their home and the husband taking his wife and childrens lives before attempting to take his own last month.   This call centre, at least, has been targeted since by both Thai and Cambodian authorities and all will be transferred to the same center that has been questioning three others already in custody.

– Breast enhancement warning
With cheap plastic surgery being offered on various websites, the president of the Forensic Physicians Association of Thailand yesterday reported on the passing of a Thai woman who opted for breast enhancement at what is suspected to have been an illegal medical practice. Seems as opposed to fitting pads filled with gel, she was simply injected with collagen and or silicone.  The ever popular enhancement, often funded by partners, has seen an increase in online advertising, an autopsy showed the gel entering the woman’s blood system and  damaging vessels, lungs and brain.  Simply put.. only modern day pads are safe.

The 36 year old Chinese man being held by police after he was rear ended on a Bangkok motorway has now been formally charged by authorities.  As his car was hit in the rear, and both he and the driver negotiated, so a Chinawoman leapt from the vehicle, fleeing along the highway on foot, later claiming that she had been kidnapped.  Much of the occurrence was caught on CCTV and yesterday, the 36 year old was charged with assault, kidnap, abduction and rape.   He wont be getting out any time soon as he was remanded without bail for at least 12 days.

– Electricity & Diesel cost reductions in Thailand from today
Good news for all here as from today the cost per unit for electricity drops to below 4 baht. For homes registered to companies, that rate will be higher as the commercial rate here will see extra costs added, however the drop will be comparative and see savings.  As will the cut in diesel prices at the pumps.  Regular diesel drops now to 30 baht a litre with the super duper versions seeing a cut too.
