Thailand & Pattaya News, from Fabulous 103fm (12 April 2022)

Pattaya’s smog index sat a scary 152 this morning, Tuesday. With Bangkok reporting 156. To give a comparison, Paris registered 15 and Los Angeles 29. The issues of air quality are of serious concern to physicians and anyone with breathing issues MUST get medical advice. Today is the 4th day in a row where figures have been at all time highs, with Sunday seeing, at one point, 171. Wearing masks DOES protect somewhat but considerably against the pollution in the air and outdoor exercise is not recommended.

With that happening before, Thailand has offered safe haven and allowed them then to return when the bombing ceased.

Thai authorities are to petition US courts for the return of 3 Thai’s there, accused of involvement with gangsters, and dealing in drugs, in return for weapons. US gang leaders, along with the Thais were nabbed last week and were the three to be repatriated, under Thai law they can be tried for crimes abroad and would face life sentences.

Police in north Bangkok were called, along with fire services after a 50 yr old man, who suspected his wife was unfaithful, doused her with petrol and set her alight. As he left he also torched the motorbike belonging to a man reported to be her beau.

Buyers will then automatically be notified of any wins, so won’t even need to check their numbers, reality is.. it means, effectively.. a free ticket for every 4 you would have bought in the street.
