The warning is out that a British nose is being successfully used at Thai airports to sniff out illegal goods in luggage. The beagle, originally a hunting dog, but with the greatest sense of smell among canines is in regular use and THIS WEEK discovered SMOKED BATS being smuggled into Thailand from China. Along with smoked ham, the bats were held and the baggage owner was being sought. Beagles now are given full reign of baggage sorting areas and have resulted in numerous arrests.

A drunken American on a flight from BKK to Singapore was nabbed on arrival there after behaving in an unruly manner. The entitled youth had been denied more alcohol during his meal and later stood demanding water from airline staff, swearing and berating them. The scruffy spoiled brat type, bleached blonde and looking more like a Kevin and Perry type than an adult was given his water, after calling staff idiots and threatening to push them over, just before Singaporean police boarded and arrested him.

Warrants have been issued for two Non-Thais involved in a national Ponzi scheme involving Forex. A Hungarian and a Singaporean, along with over a dozen Thais are on the wanted list after being named in statements given by others, now in custody.
The daughter of exiled former PM Shinawatra has told the media she is with child BUT will continue to work within opposition party Pheu Thai and, she claims, will make a dent at least in the next general election early next year.

A 32 year old has filed charges against her former employers who, she claims , forced her into numerous nights of triple nocturnal adventures in exchange for writing off a debt SHE built up with her FEMALE employer, with whom she had had an affair. Half a million is the stated loan amount, but according to her statement, when the woman’s husband found out, he threatened her with legal action UNLESS she duly performed as required. She had initially succumbed to their wishes but later tried to leave only to be threatened again. There is probably a lot more to this claim, but it’s certainly grabbing media attention.

In addition to causing delays in payments, customers are left frustrated and embarrassed when trying to pay in stores, only to fail due to SYSTEM OUTAGES.

Most never expected him to leave his beleaguered state, as he micro manages the dwindling invasion of Ukraine but, as reported, initially his office HAD accepted the invitation.
It’s now been clarified that the gold shop thief, who netted over a million baht of the yellow stuff is NOT a foreigner but a Thai, this as CCTV is being analysed by police following the armed holdup of a gold shop at the Big C mall on the Sukhumvit. He flashed a piece of paper at staff demanding their wares, they were taken aback, so he cleared two trays of gold before fleeing the scene. He has already been spotted on tape dumping all but the valuable stuff, along with an air pistol and clothing which, no doubt, will offer DNA as evidence.

Police are investigating claims that a gang of local unruly teens attempted to force their way into a closing nightclub on Walking Street this week. Said to have spat at security guards before a fight broke out, seeing 4 staff injured. CCTV from the street is like to see them arrested over the weekend.
